Today marks our sixth year anniversary! These past six years have flown by, but I couldn't be happier! This is our wedding picture taken in Maui where we had our destination wedding/elopement/honeymoon. We're going out later this week to celebrate without the kids which will be great.
The past few days the kids and I have been watching a mom and dad bird build a nest in our birdhouse outside. The birds are either chickadees or a type of sparrow. We have been using a bird book that my sweet sister gave to us to try to determine which type they are. I have read that songbirds do not have a good sense of smell so you can approach their nests and this shouldn't bother the birds - perhaps in a week or so we'll take a peek through the roof to see what is going on in there. I was amazed at how quietly the kids sat there and watched them work on their nest. They lasted about 30 minutes before they became antsy. Another beautiful day here - supposed to hit 75 today, but it will cool down a bit after that. Off to play with Ethan!

Happy Anniversary to two wonderful people who just happen to meet - in a chat room - just like the women in the book Greg wrote about the murderer finding his victims on the internet. Egads!!!!!
P.S. If you haven't read it, it's called "The Chat Room" by G. S. Hitchcock and it is really good.
